TMR (total mixed rations) is an increasingly popular way of feeding dairy cattle that blends different types of feedstuffs to make sure the cows receive adequate nourishment.
It is different from other feeds as several raw materials are mixed, and even within TMR the composition of feeds varies so much that we felt optimal preservation can only be reached with a range of specialized preservatives.
