Site Sayakha, a greenfield facility located in Sayakha, District Bharuch, Gujarat State, India, inaugurated in February 2024, is Perstorp’s latest state of the art production plant. This is the first major investment in India by Perstorp, and the site is spread out over approximately 28 acres of land. This site provided employment to 1500 people during construction and continues to employ around 120 people who operate the site.

The plant produces calcium formate, pentaerythritol, and ISCC PLUS certified Voxtar™ M40, our renewable version of Penta, based on mass balance approach that applies both chemical and physical traceability. In addition, Site Sayakha offers various Penta qualities including Penta Mono and Di-Penta. Penta has a vast range of application areas, being an essential building block for coatings, as well synthetic lubricants, and antioxidants.

Our new plant solidifies and strengthens our long-term position and presence in the growth region of Asia. It also reinforces our ability to meet growing demand, particularly in Asian markets.
