Happy Easter!
It is the time of Easter bunnies and painting eggs. Beware that they don’t hatch, though. A recent trial with our ProPhorce™ SR has shown an improved number of eggs hatched per hen – so more chicks for the farmer!
ProPhorce™ SR consists of glycerol esters of butyric acid, used by feed manufacturers to improve the gut health of swine and poultry. Butyric acid is well known for its beneficial effects on production animals in the agricultural industry. The esterification process greatly reduces the smell of the butyric acid and allows for the active ingredient to be released in the animal’s intestinal tract where it’s most beneficial.
