Major investment nearing completion
The major Valerox project at Perstorp’s production unit in Stenungsund is in full swing – and nearing completion.
The investment in new capacity for the production of valeraldehyde and its derivatives is one of the largest investments in the history of Perstorp, and now it’s nearing completion. 93% of all pipes are in place, and the plant is soon mechanically complete. Despite the hot summer, work has gone above expectations - and is on time and within budget.
On the pictures below you can see that the compressor has been installed, and that a silencer has been built around it. You can also see the reactor being loaded in India, now on its way to Stenungsund and expected to arrive beginning of September.
