We are now looking for a Marketing Communication Project Manager to plan and deliver global marketing communication projects and campaigns. In this role, experience from a B2B, industrial, or chemical industry context is an advantage, as you will work with technically complex offerings and global markets.

About the position

As our new Marketing Communication Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand stories to life — from strategic campaigns to hands-on activities like trade fairs and digital events. You’ll lead the end-to-end execution of global marketing communication projects that support Perstorp’s brand and business goals, always with a sharp eye for detail, consistency, and creative impact.

You’ll be part of a small but agile team where collaboration is key, your ability to both drive projects forward and take on practical tasks will be highly valued. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Excellence and Media Production teams to ensure every campaign runs smoothly and in line with Perstorp’s brand and business objectives.

What will you do?

Key responsibilities

Project & campaign execution

  • Plan, manage, and execute marketing communication projects and campaigns within defined business and communication objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, timelines, execution, follow-up, and documentation.

  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely delivery.

  • Manage assigned budgets and resources according to approved plans, with focus on cost control and transparency.

Marketing communication activities

  • Execute global marketing communication initiatives and assets supporting Perstorp’s market positioning, segments, and growth priorities.

  • Act as a functional point of contact for external marketing communication and campaign execution.

  • Coordinate physical and digital marketing activities such as trade fairs, events, webinars, and digital campaigns.

  • Take responsibility for booth concepts, design coordination, and logistics together with media production team, suppliers, and event partners.

  • Develop, adapt, and review campaign messaging and content, including copywriting and the use of AI-supported tools, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

Data, CRM & marketing automation

  • Drive structured prospecting and lead-nurturing activities in close collaboration with Marketing Excellence, Strategic Segments, and Sales.

  • Ensure correct setup, execution, and follow-up of campaigns in CRM and marketing automation systems.

  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance using defined KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.

  • Use data and insights to support continuous improvement of campaigns, processes, and ways of working.

  • Maintain structured project documentation, reporting, and learnings to support transparency and knowledge sharing.

Who are you?

You have solid experience in managing marketing communication projects, preferably within a B2B or industrial setting. Navigating multiple projects simultaneously, within defined scopes, timelines, and budgets, comes naturally to you. Your working style is structured, hands-on, and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and quality in execution.

You’re confident collaborating across functions and cultures, with strong stakeholder management skills that help drive alignment and clarity. With a data-driven mindset, you use performance metrics to evaluate impact and guide decisions. You’re also curious about new tools and technologies, including AI, and see their potential to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).

  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing communication, campaign execution, or project management.

  • Experience working in or with the chemical industry or a closely related industrial sector is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • Solid experience in marketing communication project management, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment.

  • Experience with digital marketing or sales is a plus

  • Practical experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, marketing automation tools), as well as digital campaign platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel as required for trade fairs, events, and business activities.
