Akestra™ for hot food and beverage services
Packaging for hot food and beverage service comes with tough demands. Whether it's coffee lids, soup bowls, or trays for hot meals, packaging needs to stay rigid, safe, and visually appealing - even at temperatures approaching boiling water. Traditionally, that has meant turning to materials like PP or PS, which come with limitations in recyclability, clarity, and often a less-than-premium feel. As expectations rise for both performance and circularity, packaging needs a smarter solution.

Emulsifiers for waterborne alkyds
Waterborne alkyds are based on emulsion technology which allows traditional solvents to be replaced by water. Swapping out solvents for water comes with many benefits such as lower VOC levels and reduced dependency on fossil raw materials. In other words, working with waterborne alkyds significantly improves the sustainability, health and safety credentials of the final paint.

Breaking the myth: recycled PET in heat resistant food packaging. It’s possible.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is a widely used thermoplastic polymer known for its clarity, strength, barrier properties and wide processability. It is commonly found in beverage bottles, food containers, and packaging films, and one of the most significant advantages of PET is its recyclability. It can be recycled into new products, supporting the circular economy by reducing waste and conserving resources. Unfortunately, one thing amorphous PET, is not good at is withstanding high temperatures.

Feed acidification - by today’s standards
Feed acidification is the process of reducing the pH of feed by using organic acids. This process has proven its efficiency in helping to reduce harmful bacteria and improving feed digestibility for decades. Today’s solutions for feed acidification are more effective, better targeted to specific applications and often non-corrosive. Some even have additional benefits such as allowing you to influence the dietary electrolyte balance. Despite being a producer of formic and propionic acid, we believe the world is best served with these next generation solutions that are safer and more effective.
