Monica Jönsson new CFO for Perstorp Group
March 1 Monica Jönsson took on the position as Chief Financial Officer at Perstorp. Monica has held several roles within the global specialty chemicals group, including Deputy CFO.
Monica joined Perstorp Group in 2018 and focused during her first years mainly on end to end process excellence and developing a robust Integrated Business Planning process in the company. She joined the Finance department in 2021 as VP of Business Planning & Controlling. Since 2022 she was Deputy CFO.
Monica has an Industrial Management and Engineering degree from Lund University. Before joining Perstorp, she spent ten years in Supply Chain Management at Gambro and Baxter International and three years developing global supply planning at Tetra Pak.
”I do not have the traditional background of a CFO, but since I have worked with large parts of the company in my previous roles I have a good knowledge about how things work and how things are connected. Combining that with my insight in financial results gives me sure instinct for what we should focus on in the different business environments we are facing,” Monica comments.
