Position Title: Assistant Manager - Process

Department: Production

Immediate Superior: Production Head

Job Type: Full time/Regular

Work Location: Site Sayakha, Bharuch, India

Responsibilities:

Evaluating, in detail, the current operation from start to finish.

Analyzing this information to find areas of waste, duplication and frequent errors.

Develop and reinforce the best practices.

Identify and document the gap analysis for the product/plant.

Developing a plan to implement changes.

Monitoring the results of the changes to ensure they are working.

Making continuous improvements and adjustments to maintain efficient operations.

Coordinate and manage key process improvement/change projects (e.g. launch new products).

Facilitate process re-engineering within the site in coordination with relevant stake holders.

Communicate to the stakeholders on projects and initiatives.

Make recommendations for change, involving process redesign and business case development.

Devising efficient and effective way of use of resources for making products with optimal quality and with high degree of process safety.

Ensure accurate and organized process documentation in procedures for change management for lab/pilot trials, trial production and commercial production.

Prepare and present annual process review documents.

Establish measurable criteria to ensure desired results are obtained; provide management with updates via tracking reports on project progress.

Align process goals with company’s key initiatives/accountabilities.

Identify the resources needed for the change management including the softskills and technical competency requirement of the workforce.

Education and Experience: Graduate Engineer in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.

Experience (12+ years) in the field of process optimization with respect to improvement of consumptions of RM and utilities, quality, yield and throughout of product, improving safety and sustainability of the process. Proven track record for the same.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various unit operations like distillation, stripping, crystallization, drying etc and various unit processes.

SAP PM experience preferred.
