Perstorp at annual EPCA conference - the future looks brighter
The annual EPCA conference took place in Berlin October 5th to 9th. The conference was visited by several Perstorp colleagues. In connection with the global conference, a sales meeting for West and East Europe also took place.
EPCA, The European Petrochemical Association, is a non-profit association that serves a global network for the chemical business community. Every year they hold a conference somewhere in Europe, and the theme of this year’s EPCA was “Global Leadership and the Chemical Industry”.
“This conference together with AFPM in the US, APLA in Latin America and GPCA in Middle East are natural arenas for Perstorp to extend our senior business relationships”, says Mikael Gedin, EVP Global Sales.
Marie Grönborg, Region Head West Europe, and Anna Yevdokimova, Region Head East Europe, continued with regional sales meetings in Berlin when EPCA was through.
“We seized the opportunity to hold sales meetings after EPCA with our sales teams. CEO Jan Secher and EVP Global Sales Mikael Gedin were present together with representatives from Market Development and the Business Units,” Marie Grönborg says.
“It’s been a good and intense week, and it’s nice to see that the market sentiment and outlook for 2014 is somewhat positive!” Mikael Gedin concludes.
