Perstorp recently established a new drumming facility for Propionaldehyde in Mumbai, India.

Perstorp is increasing the accessibility for drummed Propionaldehyde in Asia, with a new drumming facility in Mumbai, India. Asia is the largest market for drummed Propionaldehyde for Perstorp today, and the majority of Propionaldehyde customers in India need drummed product.

Divakaran Kaiprath, Managing Director India and Supply Chain Manager South Asia & MEAF, comments:

“This innovative step will boost the Propionaldehyde business. The facility will be very good for the customers in Asia on account of shorter transit time from India to other Asian countries and the same will significantly reduce the cycle time of order to delivery.”

The new drumming facility has capacity to drum other products than Propionaldehyde. The first ISO tank drumming was successfully completed in July 2013, and the customers were very pleased.
