Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase price for Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) effective 1 January 2013 or as existing contracts permit.

With effect 1 January or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase the price of Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) by US$100/MT (or €80/MT) in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Europe.

The price increase is necessary due to higher operating costs mainly from raw materials and energy prices. Monthly prices continue to be offered only.
