Doing good with chemistry

Our sustainability strategy marks an important milestone in our commitment to responsible and sustainable practices. Our strategy starts with our purpose, ‘doing good with chemistry’, which leads us to our commitment of enabling sustainable innovations everywhere. Sustainable solutions and operations are part of our foundation. We intend to create business value by enabling sustainable innovations for our customers and across value chains. Sustainability is positioned as a key differentiator and a value driver for us.

Enabling sustainable innovations everywhere

Chemicals are the fundamental building blocks for human life. Approximately 96 percent of all manufactured products rely on chemicals: the clothes you wear, the chair you sit on, the medicine you take, the car you drive. This means that the transition of products in society begins with the transition of the chemical industry.

We have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact; by driving change, transforming our production and enable new solutions that will help industries and products everywhere we operate become more sustainable. We are fully committed to do so and to always act respectfully with regards to people, environment and society.

Vision 2045

Even though 96% of all manufactured goods rely on chemicals, few people know the vital role chemistry plays in the transition towards a more sustainable society.  In our newly released video, we explain how Perstorp and the chemical industry through collaboration in the value chain and by switching to more sustainable resources and developing circular solutions, will have a positive impact on the environment in various ways, ensuring a better future for all.
