Pro-Environment solutions

By enabling Pro-Environment products which reduce CO2 emissions throughout the value chain and are based on renewable or recycled raw materials according to a traceable mass balance concept. The Pro-Environment products are ISCC PLUS certified and are chemically identical to their fossil counterparts, offering the same quality without trade-off in performance. Our Pro-Environment product range benefits our customers and the value chain by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and by supporting the transition to renewable or recycled materials, in other words supporting the challenges of reaching climate neutrality and a circular society.

Downstream sustainability contributions

Innovating sustainability benefits which our products can enable for products or processes of our customers and next steps in the value chains. We constantly develop new products and solutions that contribute to the downstream transformation by for example reducing energy consumption, enabling recyclability of the end product, increase durability or substitution to safer material.

Project AIR: Towards a climate neutral industry

 

Methanol is one of the most important raw materials for the chemical industry. Project AIR aims to substitute all the 200,000 tons of fossil methanol that Perstorp uses annually in Europe as a raw material for chemical products.
