Minimize the impact of mycotoxins

Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites of molds that can have a detrimental effect on animal and human health. The most common mycotoxins are aflatoxin, ochratoxin, deoxynivalenol (DON), zearalenone (ZEA), T-2 and Fumonisin B1. Dietary concentrations of 1 ppm can result in a 10-20% reduction of feed consumption and feed conversion.​

The mycotoxin problem can be reduced by preventing mold growth that secrete mycotoxins during the storage by using mold inhibitors.

However some mycotoxins are produced already on the field and in this case the only solution is using a proper toxin binder. Toxin binders with single component are not able to bind all types of toxins. A mixture can cover the toxin spectrum better as they have complementary, synergistic effect together.
