Our long-term ambition guides our aspiration to promote health and safety, reduce emissions, work towards zero virgin fossil raw materials, minimize and increase the recycling of waste, reduce reliance on fresh water, and help protect people and nature across our value chain. Long-term statements for human rights and biodiversity are also being developed.
How we work towards this ambition
Reaching our long-term ambition requires consistency and collaboration. Step by step, we are establishing a proactive safety culture, reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, transforming our feedstocks, improving efficiency across our production sites in areas such as waste, water, and energy, and supporting the development of circular material systems that keep resources in use for longer.
Guided by our approach of Enable, Transform, and Care, we aim to create value while supporting the responsible use of finite materials, promoting alternatives where feasible, and helping keep materials in use for as long as possible.
