Perstorp invests in increased polyol capacity by acquiring Chemko's penta business
Perstorp, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announces the acquisition of the pentaerythritol, penta, and calcium formate businesses from Chemko a.s. Strážske, a Slovakian chemicals producer. The transaction is part of Perstorp’s ambitious investment plan to increase polyol capacity.

Magnus Heimburg, new CFO of Perstorp
Magnus Heimburg has been appointed new CFO of Perstorp Holding AB as of December 1, 2014. Magnus is an experienced senior executive with experience from various management positions in companies like Scancem and Swedish Match. During the last eight years, Magnus has worked for Preem as CFO, leading a centralized finance function with around 140 employees.

Zero greenhouse gas emissions for Perstorp’s Waspik site: a milestone in low footprint production

Perstorp strengthens its sustainable offerings with 100% renewable based 2-Ethylhexanol
Leading specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp has launched a new grade of 2-Ethylhexanol (2-EH), now available with 100% renewable, traceable mass-balanced carbon content. When including the biogenic CO2 uptake absorbed by the renewable raw materials used, the product has a negative carbon footprint cradle to Perstorp gate. Developed based on both physical and chemical traceability, 2-EH Pro 100 is designed to minimize the carbon footprint throughout the value chain, while supporting sustainable sourcing of renewable and recycled raw materials.
