New facility for purifying wastewater inaugurated in Stenungsund
Perstorp has celebrated the opening of a facility that will enable wastewater from the water treatment plant run by the municipality to be further purified and reused for cooling at the Perstorp Oxo production plant in Stenungsund. This will save 1.1 billion litres of freshwater per year and is a great step on the way towards reaching our 2030-targets for freshwater consumption.

パーストープは、市が運営する水処理施設からの廃水をさらに浄化し、ステヌングスンドにあるPerstorp Oxo工場で冷却用に再利用するため、新しい浄化施設を開設致しました。これにより年間11億リットルの水が節約され、2030年の節水目標の達成に向けた大きな一歩となります。

Perstorp Sustainability Report 2023
Today we publish our Sustainability report for 2023. In 2023, we reduced our impact in all our 2030 target areas compared to both 2022 and our base year 2019, with the exception of non-hazardous waste. This reduction is to a large extent explained by lower production volumes but it is also due to a continuous and systematic development and execution of our roadmaps until 2030.
