Perstorp Group is growing and a number of investment programs within operations are in the pipeline. Global Technology & Investments is a global department within the Operations function, based in Sweden. The department is responsible for setting the overall company Technology Strategy. In alignment with the strategy, the department is focused on delivering technology solutions through investment projects and improving plant performance across all Perstorp’s production sites in the world.
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for;
• Actively support building of a safety and continuous improvement culture and organize and plan the resources for projects and technical support
• Manage large scale projects involving several sub-projects and assure that projects are clearly defined and accurately managed
• Manage and coordinate activities to accomplish on-time, on-budget delivery of the projects
• Manage project personnel, the development and follow-up of budget and targets for projects and for develop and mentor other project managers
The successful candidate need to have more than 10 years of experience from a similar role, preferably from international brown field and/or green field projects and have experience from process industry and/or development of industrial production sites with focus on technical engineering design and building construction. You probably have an academic engineering degree or equivalent and excellent leadership skills. You need to have proven capabilities in organizing and structuring complex assignments and experience in change facilitation/management (ADKAR). You speak native Swedish/Scandinavian and you master English in speech and writing.
As a person you find yourself comfortable in a global context and are a skilled builder of sustainable relationships. You are structured and have the ability to make analysis together with strategic capabilities along with a hands-on approach towards implementation. You are strong in execution and an ability to create attention and a professional who is persistent in your approach. We also highly value excellent communication skills and capability to diagnose and successfully handle pro-actively complex issues. You need a work process-oriented mind-set with a very high ability to create a teamwork-oriented environment and mentor all level up to Senior Project Managers.
The position is placed in Sweden; either in Perstorp or in Stenungsund but comes with extensive global travelling when needed in projects abroad.
