Boltorn™ W3000 is an amphiphilic dendritic polymer that contains non-ionic as well as
unsaturated fatty acid chains. This highly efficient product allows paint formulators to partially exchange solvent for water. By adding approx. 1% of Boltorn™ W3000 to a solvent-borne paint, 15% of the solvent can be replaced with water. The resulting paint will have a similar paint performance at a lower cost per liter and with reduced air emissions.
