New Group management team at Perstorp
“I am satisfied with the outcome of the recruitment process. Not least I view it as sign of our strength that both Martin Lundin and Mats Persson, our internal candidates, proved themselves amid tough competition to be best suited for the roles,” says Bo Dankis, Chairman of Perstorp Holding AB.
Martin Lundin is aged 40 and has qualifications in behavioral science and economics as well as MBA classes from Boston University and UBI, Brussels. He has long experience of international leadership. From 2001 to 2005 he was Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Communications at Perstorp. After a number of years as a management consultant with his own business he returned to Perstorp at the start of 2009 as Deputy CEO of the Group.
“This really is a privilege for me to lead Perstorp going forward. We have grown strongly in recent years. A natural focus for me is therefore to maximize the positive effects of our investments, but also to continue building upon the fantastic opportunities offered by our technical platforms and market positions,” says Martin Lundin.
Mats Persson, 46, is a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and has an MBA from Lund, Sweden. As Executive Vice President of the Specialty Intermediates business group, Mats is one of Perstorp’s most experienced managers. He will retain his position as EVP in addition to taking on new assignments as Deputy CEO of the Group.
