Sustainable Specialty Chemicals provider Perstorp Group to be acquired by PETRONAS Chemicals Group
Perstorp Group, a leading sustainability-driven global specialty chemicals company, today said that it is to be acquired by PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG). PCG announced today that it has signed a Securities Purchase Agreement on 14 May 2022 to acquire the entire equity interest in Perstorp Holding AB. The agreement was signed with Financière Forêt S.à.r.l, a company under PAI Partners, a European private equity firm.

Perstorp Group förvärvas av PETRONAS Chemicals Group för 2.3 miljarder euro
Perstorp Group meddelar idag att PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) tecknat avtal om att förvärva det svenska bolaget, som är en global ledare inom specialkemi. Affären sker genom att PCG köper samtliga aktier i Perstorp Holding AB av det franska riskkapitalbolaget PAI Partners för 2.3 miljarder euro (motsvarande ca 24,142 miljarder SEK).

Effective March 1st, Ib Jensen takes over from Jan Secher as Chief Executive Officer of Perstorp Group, a leading specialty chemicals company headquartered in Malmö, Sweden and since 2022 part of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG).
