Strategic developments for Perstorp Animal Nutrition in the Middle East
In October 2024 we held strategic technical meetings in the Izmir and Afyon regions in the Middle East. These sessions marked a significant shift in our strategy, offering an invaluable platform to expand our existing customer base while establishing robust relationships with new clients.
A highlight of these meetings was the impactful presentation delivered by our EMEA Technical sales manager, Burak Ruperez. His detailed and scientifically-backed presentation on ProPhorce™ AC 299, a sodium based product that helps with electrolyte balance and pathogen mitigation showcasing the product's unique advantages, providing attendees with a thorough understanding of the product’s performance and benefits, driving increased interest and laying a strong foundation for future sales.
These meetings have already yielded notable results. Perstorp successfully entered three new countries—Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq—and secured five new distributors in the region. Our sales in the Middle East have surged fivefold compared to 2023. Especially in Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
In addition to our regional expansion, we introduced several key products that have shown promising results. ProMyr™ TMR Cool and ProPhorce™ Premium NC were launched in Turkey, offering enhanced feed efficiency and nutrient optimization for livestock. ProPhorce™ AC 299, introduced in Saudi Arabia, is gaining recognition. We also introduced Gastrivix™ Avi in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt, a product that combines the power of butyric and valeric acid, designed to promote digestive health and enhance nutrient absorption in poultry.
