Perstorp launches Voxtar™, world’s first renewable pentaerythritol platform

Based on renewable raw materials and energy, Voxtar™ has a significantly smaller carbon footprint than conventional fossil-based Penta products. And while Perstorp Penta is a product with a reasonable environmental profile compared to many chemicals, the company has now improved it even further. The Voxtar™ product line shrinks carbon footprint by up to 63% compared to conventional Penta products, all while providing identical properties and performance. In addition, Voxtar™ renewability is independently certified.

Voxtar™ products maximize value by helping formulators and producers capitalize on the growing demand for renewable alternatives. It enhances performance and minimizes environmental impact in a wide range of end products including high performance alkyd paints and coatings, synthetic lubricants, cosmetic emollients, adhesives, and printing inks.
