We are currently looking for someone to join a multidisciplinary team engaged in developing and introducing next generation of products for the synthetic lubricants and engineered fluids market.

In this role you will evaluate new ideas, and lead technical development activities in close collaboration both with business and R&D. It is important to keep up with state-of-the art technology in different application areas and identify future trends of interest within the polyol ester area to drive innovations. We work close with colleagues from other parts of the company such as Business development, Sales and Regulatory affairs but also with external partners and customers to solve challenges and find solutions.
About the position:
- Lead technical development projects for new products and innovations, and coordinate activities
- Drive competence development and grow external networks in your area of expertise
- Provide content and help with technical presentations and marketing material
- Identify and turn market needs into development projects in close collaboration with business and customers

Education and experiences required
- Chemistry, chemical engineering – PhD or Master level with equivalent experience
- Preferably a few years of working in an industrial environment
- Experience of lubricants industry and ester based lubricants is a merit
- English, both written and spoken
This position will be based in Perstorp, Sweden, some international traveling is required. Perstorp applies a hybrid way of working.
