Design classic from Perstorp has been registered as Applied Art©
Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) has commented on the popular plastic bag designed by Perstorp in the 1950s. The opinion committee, which consists of both lawyers and designers, considers that the bag is so original and distinctive that it thereby enjoys copyright protection as an article of Applied Art©.

Svensk Forms Opinionsnämnd har yttrat sig angående den populära plastväskan som designades av Perstorp AB på 1950-talet. Opinionsnämnden som består av både jurister och designer anser att väskan är så originell och särpräglad att verkshöjd får anses föreligga och att väskan därigenom åtnjuter upphovsrättsligt skydd som ett alster av brukskonst.

Sustainable Specialty Chemicals provider Perstorp Group to be acquired by PETRONAS Chemicals Group
Perstorp Group, a leading sustainability-driven global specialty chemicals company, today said that it is to be acquired by PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG). PCG announced today that it has signed a Securities Purchase Agreement on 14 May 2022 to acquire the entire equity interest in Perstorp Holding AB. The agreement was signed with Financière Forêt S.à.r.l, a company under PAI Partners, a European private equity firm.

Perstorp Group förvärvas av PETRONAS Chemicals Group för 2.3 miljarder euro
Perstorp Group meddelar idag att PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) tecknat avtal om att förvärva det svenska bolaget, som är en global ledare inom specialkemi. Affären sker genom att PCG köper samtliga aktier i Perstorp Holding AB av det franska riskkapitalbolaget PAI Partners för 2.3 miljarder euro (motsvarande ca 24,142 miljarder SEK).

When is it best to use, formic acid or sodium formate?
In general, formic acid is widely recognized as a very effective feed acidifier and antimicrobial agent. However, it can be challenging to decide whether to use a formic acid based product like ProPhorce™ AC 600 and Formic Acid 85 %, or a sodium formate based product like ProPhorce™ AC 299. With that in mind we hope to help you in your choice of the right product for your specific circumstances. There are some key differences in the effects different formulations of formic acid will have in the animal. The difference is whether you primary need is gastric acidification, antimicrobial effect or both.
