Project Air to receive EUR 97 million under agreement with Innovation Fund
Representatives from Perstorp, Uniper and CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) met today to officially sign the agreement granting the project support from the Innovation Fund. The agreement states that Project Air will receive EUR 97 million in support to enable its ground-breaking technology, which is a critical enabler for the European chemicals industry to become carbon-neutral.

Perstorp sätter hållbarhetsmål för vatten och avfall
Perstorp har lagt till nya hållbarhetsmål för vatten och avfall i sin hållbarhetsstrategi. Företagets långsiktiga hållbarhetsambition är att bli Finite Material Neutral, vilket omfattar vatten och avfall samt råvaror, energi och katalysatorer. 2021 fastställde företaget sina första 2030-mål, för utsläpp av växthusgaser (godkända av Science Based Targets initiative) och (eko) toxicitet: Nu har Perstorp lagt till ytterligare hållbarhetsmål i linje med företagets långsiktiga ambitioner.

Jan Secherの後任としてIb JensenがPerstorpグループの新CEOに就任
3月1日付で、Jan Secherに替わりIb JensenがPerstorpグループの最高経営責任者に就任します。同グループは、スウェーデンのマルメに本社を置き、2022年からPETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad（PCG）の一員となっている大手特殊化学品メーカーです。Ib Jensenは、CFOとして長いキャリアを持ち、業界のシニアエグゼクティブとして高く評価されています。また、M&Aおよび買収企業の統合に関する幅広い経験もあり、この経験はPerstorpの次のフェーズにおいて必要とされるものです。

パーストープ、水と廃棄物の削減目標を設定
サステナブルソリューションプロバイダーのパーストープは、サステナビリティ戦略に、水と廃棄物に関する新たな企業目標を追加しました。同社の長期的なサステナビリティ目標は、原材料、エネルギー、触媒に加え、水と廃棄物を含む「Finite Material Neutral有限資源の再生化」を実現することです。2021年には、温室効果ガス排出量（承認された科学的根拠に基づく目標を使用）と（環境）有害物質影響について、最初の2030年目標を設定しました。今回、パーストープは、その長期的な野心に取り組むべく、新たなサステナビリティ目標を追加しました。

Aart Mateboer retires; Change in Perstorp Animal Nutrition leadership while pursuing ambitious growth plan

Executive Vice President Aart Mateboer has announced his retirement after May 31st. Leading specialty chemicals provider Perstorp completes its offer of C8-C10 Oxo Alcohols, by introducing Isononanol (INA), Iso-Dodecene and Oxo Oil 9N to the product portfolio. The new complete offer is made possible by utilizing synergies with Perstorp parent company PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), one of the largest integrated chemicals producers in Southeast Asia and part of the PETRONAS Group. The plant has been operational since early August.

Perstorp works with Intel Open IP Advanced Liquid Cooling on synthetic thermal management fluid
Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), has worked closely with Intel’s Open IP Advanced Liquid Cooling team in recent years. Together they have developed a high-performance synthetic thermal management fluid specifically designed for immersion cooling in data centers. They initiated the partnership in 2022 as a part of continuing efforts to create more sustainable data center cooling solutions. More recently, the partners participated in COMPUTEX 2024 in Taipei where Intel showcased its Gaudi 3 AI accelerator solution. The accelerator uses Intel’s SuperFluid Cooling Technology, which leverages the low viscosity and high flash point balance of Perstorp’s advanced synthetic thermal management fluid.

パーストープは、PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad（PCG）の完全子会社として、近年IntelのOpen IP Advanced Liquid Coolingチームと密に連携を取り、データセンターの浸漬冷却向けに特別に設計された高性能の合成熱管理液を共同開発しました。このパートナーシップは、持続可能なデータセンター冷却ソリューションを創出するための継続的な取り組みの一環として、2022年に始まりました。最近では、共に台北で開催されたCOMPUTEX 2024に参加し、IntelがGaudi 3 AIアクセラレーターソリューションを紹介しました。このアクセラレーターは、インテルの SuperFluid Cooling Technology を使用しており、Perstorp の高度な合成熱管理流体の低粘度と高引火点のバランスを活用しています。
