Capa™ grades given food contact approval in US
Perstorp has acquired food contact use approval for its Capa™ for Bioplastics product grades 6500D and the new 6800D. By adding Capa 6800D to its product portfolio, Perstorp can now offer a higher molecular weight product to give customers more choices and flexibility in finding the right formulation.

Perstorp takes an important step to strengthen its position in the Polyol market
Perstorp, the world leader in Neopentyl Polyhydric alcohols (Polyols), today announces the agreement for the acquisition of Polialcoli Srl from Polioli SpA. The agreement includes the Neo, TMP and TMPDE as well as the associated Formate businesses located at the Vercelli site (Italy). Included in the transaction are also technology, know-how and equipment. The 74 employees who are currently employed in the acquired company, are welcomed to the Perstorp group.

Perstorp invests in increased polyol capacity by acquiring Chemko's penta business
Perstorp, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announces the acquisition of the pentaerythritol, penta, and calcium formate businesses from Chemko a.s. Strážske, a Slovakian chemicals producer. The transaction is part of Perstorp’s ambitious investment plan to increase polyol capacity.

Magnus Heimburg, new CFO of Perstorp
Magnus Heimburg has been appointed new CFO of Perstorp Holding AB as of December 1, 2014. Magnus is an experienced senior executive with experience from various management positions in companies like Scancem and Swedish Match. During the last eight years, Magnus has worked for Preem as CFO, leading a centralized finance function with around 140 employees.
