Perstorp and Swedish industry submitted action plan for biogas to the Swedish government
Biogas is a key raw material for the industry's climate transition. On Wednesday 19 March, a concrete proposal for an ambitious biogas policy framework was submitted to the Swedish Government by Perstorp and nine industrial players throughout the biogas value chain.

Upcoming Change to Invoicing in USA – Tariff Surcharge Implementation
In response to Executive Order #14257, titled “Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits,” and the subsequent “Modifying Reciprocal Tariff Rates to Reflect Trading Partner Retaliation and Alignment,” new import tariffs are being applied to certain raw materials and finished goods based on their country of origin.

Perstorp acquires OQ Chemicals Nederland B.V.
Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), today announced Perstorp Holding AB has acquired 100 percent of the shares of OQ Chemicals Nederland B.V. from OQ Chemicals GmbH. The deal provides Sweden-based Perstorp with full ownership and control over all of the Dutch company’s production assets, related technology and employees.
