ペトロナスケミカルズによるパーストープ買収
持続可能性を重視する世界的なスペシャルティケミカル企業であるパーストープグループは、本日、ペトロナスケミカルズグループBHD（PCG）に買収されることを発表しました。PCGは、2022年5月14日、パーストープホールディングABの全株式を取得するための株式譲渡契約を締結したことを発表しました。欧州のプライベートエクイティファームであるPAI パートナーズ傘下のフィナンシエフォレS.à.r.lと契約を結びました。

3月1日付で、Jan Secherに替わりIb JensenがPerstorpグループの最高経営責任者に就任します。同グループは、スウェーデンのマルメに本社を置き、2022年からPETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad（PCG）の一員となっている大手特殊化学品メーカーです。Ib Jensenは、CFOとして長いキャリアを持ち、業界のシニアエグゼクティブとして高く評価されています。また、M&Aおよび買収企業の統合に関する幅広い経験もあり、この経験はPerstorpの次のフェーズにおいて必要とされるものです。

Ib Jensen takes over from Jan Secher as new CEO of Perstorp Group
Effective March 1st, Ib Jensen takes over from Jan Secher as Chief Executive Officer of Perstorp Group, a leading specialty chemicals company headquartered in Malmö, Sweden and since 2022 part of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG). Ib Jensen is a highly respected senior industry executive with a long career as CFO and extensive experience from M&A and integration of acquired companies, something that will be required in the next phase for Perstorp.

Project Air: Unique Swedish green chemistry investment wins support from EU Innovation Fund
The European Union Innovation Fund has selected Project Air, a unique production facility for sustainable methanol in Stenungsund, Sweden, as one of 17 large-scale green tech projects to be granted more than EUR 1.8 billion. Project Air, which is a collaboration between Perstorp, Fortum and Uniper, has applied for EUR 97 million and the total investment is expected to amount to more than EUR 230 million.

欧州連合のイノベーション基金は、スウェーデンのステヌングスンドにあるサステナブルなメタノールのユニークな生産施設であるProject Airを、18億ユーロ以上が助成される17の大規模なグリーンテクノロジープロジェクトの1つとして選出しました。 Project Airはパーストープ、フォータム、ユニパ―の3社協業プロジェクトで、9,700万ユーロを申請しており、総投資額は2億3,000万ユーロを超えると見込まれています。

Perstorp ställer om till mer hållbara polyoler i Sverige
Sveriges största kemikoncern Perstorp, global ledare inom polyoler, tar nästa stora steg mot en mer hållbar produktion. Genom att ställa om sin största produktionssite Perstorp till att tillverka så kallade Pro-Environment polyoler kommer Perstorp att möjliggöra minskade utsläpp av växthusgaser från sin produktion, för sina polyolkunder och nedströms värdekedjor.

Perstorp, a global leader in the specialty chemicals market, has started the large-scale production of hand sanitizer and surface disinfectant for the Swedish healthcare sector – at cost price. With a capacity of over 2 million liters a month, the aim is to solve the current lack of disinfectants at a national level.
