Perstorp municipality best in Sweden for emission reduction

On the 25th of July, Sveriges Television (SVT), the Swedish public service television company showed a local news report from our site in Perstorp, highlighting the fact that in one year, carbon dioxide emissions in Perstorp were reduced by 26%.

Sustainable transformation starts within the chemical industry

The Eiffeltower is repainted every 7th year with 50 000 liters of alkyd paint. If instead of using this fossil based resin, Perstorp´s Pro-Environment grade of Penta, called Voxtar™, would be used, the effect would be a reduction of about 11 000 ton CO2 emissions, and 3500 kg virgin fossil raw material would stay in the ground. And this is only one object. 96% of all manufactured goods rely on chemical products. Imagine what transforming the entire chemical industry would do.
