Perstorp as Grand Sponsor for EFCE Process Intensification Award for Industrial Innovation
EFCE Process Intensification Award for Industrial Innovation, is awarded for an outstanding example of industrial application, in the field of process intensification. This year, the award is sponsored by Perstorp.
The award is organized by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE). Since 1953, the federation has promoted scientific collaboration and supported the work of engineers and scientists, in a wide range of European countries. Oleg Pajalic, Vice President Process Innovation at Perstorp, is a Swedish industrial representative in the Working Party: Process Intensification, at EFCE.
“Perstorp is a leading specialty chemicals manufacturer and develops its own technology. Today's technology used in process industry is often 50-100 years old and for future sustainable plants, and to stay competitive, we need to develop a new breakthrough technology based on process intensification principles,” says Oleg.
The award will be presented to an employee or a team of employees, who have made excellent contributions to industrial application of process intensification. The award winner will be announced at the 6th European Process Intensification Conference – EPIC6, held in Barcelona, Spain 1-5 October 2017.
Finally, the award will comprise a dedicated plaque, an announcement at the WCCE10 Award Ceremony, communicated on the EFCE website, a press release, and a presentation at a special session of the EPIC6 conference.
