Perstorp increases price for 2-propylheptanol (2-PH) and Emoltene™ 100
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase price for 2-propylheptanol and Emoltene™ 100 effective 15 February 2017 or as existing contracts permit.
Effective 15 February or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase the price of 2-propylheptanol by US$ 200/MT (10 c/lb) and plasticizer Emoltene™ 100 by US$ 150/MT (7 c/lb) in North America and Latin America. Prices are being increased due to higher cost of operation related to raw material, energy and logistics.
