New Perstorp HQ and commercial center located at “Posthuset” in Malmö
First week of May, 2014, the Perstorp Headquarters will be moving to Malmö, in the south of Sweden. The new HQ and commercial center will be located in “Posthuset”, just beside the Central Station of Malmö, with the address Skeppsbron, Malmö.
“The decision to move the Perstorp HQ and commercial center to Malmö was taken beginning autumn last year for three main reasons: 1) to build a customer and market driven organization to deliver on the ambitious growth plan for the Group and 2) to secure talent pipeline in the on-going global recruitments and finally 3) the proximity to and good connections to Copenhagen airport”, Mikael Gedin, EVP Regions & Group Management explains.
80 positions will be moving to Malmö; Perstorp Management Team (PMT), the commercial organization and some corporate functions working close to PMT or supporting the business on a day to day basis. The unions have been involved in the process.
Perstorp offices will be based on the 6th floor of “Posthuset” and parts of the 4th floor will be utilized as conference facility.
