TMR is short for total mixed ration: a popular way of feeding dairy cattle. TMR is a blend of different types of feedstuffs to make sure the cows receive adequate nourishment. Because it is different from other feeds, we feel that it deserves its own preservation solutions.
Not only that, but the contents of TMR can vary quite a bit depending on which type of raw materials are available for it in your area, so preservation solutions should in fact be tailored on the contents of the TMR.
