Inauguration of Perstorp's new Neo plant in Zibo, China!
On November 25, the new Neo plant at Site Zibo, China, was officially inaugurated. President & CEO Jan Secher was one of the participants, who had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
The new Neopentyl Glycol plant at Shandong Perstorp Fufeng Chemical Co., Ltd has been in operation since September this year, but the official inauguration took place on Monday, November 25.
“It was a festive ceremony with speeches and ribbon-cutting”, says Lars-Erik Johansson, Chairman of the Joint Venture.
Participating in the event was among others President & CEO Jan Secher and Guo Qjang, Perstorp’s Joint Venture partner. The guest of honor was Madame Bi Rongji, from the City Council in Zibo. Jan Secher said in his speech:
“Great support from local government and tremendous efforts from all employees involved have made this positive development possible.”
Besides the ribbon-cutting, the day also held several speeches, a tour of the plant and a lunch hosted by the City Council of Zibo.
“I would like to say thank you to everyone who has been involved. I am grateful for this remarkable achievement and support from all involved employees”, comments Stefan Edvardsson, Site Manager Zibo.
