Perstorp introduces organic acid esters at the 7º Suinter
In June the important event for the local swine industry, the 7º Suinter, took place in Brazil. Perstorp was a sponsor and gave a lecture addressing the topic of “influence of organic acid esters on the gut flora of piglets”.
From June 19 - 21, 2013, the 7º Suinter took place in the city of Foz do Iguaçu. Suinter is an important meeting for the Brazilian swine industry. Around 350 participants from various countries were present at this event which takes place every 2 years to discuss the latest technologies for the swine industry.
Perstorp sponsored the event and contributed with a lecture by Richard Sygall, Veterinary Technical Manager, addressing the topic “Influence of organic acid esters on the gut flora of piglets”. The impressive results obtained with esters of butyric acid, ProPhorce™ SR, aroused great interest among the participants. Perstorp’s attendance to this event was important to disseminate new knowledge to the market and strengthened the commitment Perstorp has to the animal nutrition industry.
