Perstorp’s digital presence is changing – and not just with the introduction of social media. A project is currently underway to develop a completely new public website, with the new www.perstorp.com seeing the light of day in the spring.

New technology, new structure and a new design. Perstorp’s public website is being given a major overhaul within the framework of the “perstorp.com upgrade project” with the aim of launching the new website in March 2013.

“This really will be a completely new website. On a technical note we have upgraded to the latest recommended version of the SiteCore content management system. We chose SiteCore for its ability to meet modern demands and because it’s a stable, supported technical platform for future development,” says Hillevi Fransson, IT Application Portfolio Manager and project manager for the website project.

The structure of the new website will also differ greatly from how perstorp.com is currently built. The starting point when our product range is presented are the market segments that Perstorp has chosen to invest in, all to make it easier for customers to find the right products with the right qualities and to be consistent in how we present ourselves.

“The new technical platform also provides significantly improved options for adapting the message and content of the site to visitors in a range of interest areas or specific market segments,” Hillevi explains.

The graphic design of the new site will be adapted according to Perstorp’s visual identity in other contexts. As an example, a visitor to one of our trade fair stands will in future recognize us when visiting our website.

“The biggest change of all is that with this new website we are departing from having several websites in the Group to having one single site that’s segmented and provides customers with the information they get today via one internet domain – www.perstorp.com,” says Cecilia Nilsson, Communication Director and project sponsor.
