Essential oils and acids - synergy makes them work

In its first issue of 2009, Feedmix published an article about the synergy between essential oils and organic acids and their ability to inhibit undesired bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella.

The article was written by Dr. Albert van Dijk, Product Development Manager at Perstorp Performance Additives. In this article he explains the mode of action of organic acids and essential oils, and shows some results of these products against E. coli and Salmonella.
