Perstorp launches Voxtar™, world’s first renewable pentaerythritol platform
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp, announces the global launch of Voxtar™, the world’s first and only renewable pentaerythritol platform, which cuts carbon footprint by 63% compared to fossil-based Penta and Di-Penta.
As the leading global supplier of pentaerythritol and its derivatives, the development of Voxtar™ is part of Perstorp’s continued commitment to developing solutions that combine high performance and low environmental impact, and supporting customers to meet the growing demand for renewable alternatives.
Based on renewable raw materials and energy, Voxtar™ has a significantly smaller carbon footprint than conventional fossil-based Penta products. And while Perstorp Penta is a product with a reasonable environmental profile compared to many chemicals, the company has now improved it even further. The Voxtar™ product line shrinks carbon footprint by up to 63% compared to conventional Penta products, all while providing identical properties and performance. In addition, Voxtar™ renewability is independently certified.
