Perstorp increases prices for aliphatic isocyanates
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase prices for aliphatic isocyanates with effect from 1 June 2011, or as existing contracts permit.
Effective 1 June, 2011, or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase prices on HDI (Hexamethylene Di-isocyanate) and IPDI (Isophore Di-isocyanate) monomers and derivatives (Tolonate™ and Easaqua™). Price increases will range from 12 to 15% depending of the product grade.
Prices are being increased due to substantially higher costs of raw materials and utilities. Perstorp is working proactively to improve productivity and to reduce manufacturing and operating costs.
