Perstorp increases price for Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA)
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase price for Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) with effect from 1 May or as existing contracts permit.
With effect from 1 May or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase the price of Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) by US$150/MT (or €100/MT) in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Europe.
The price increase is necessary due to higher operating costs from escalating energy and raw materials prices.
Monthly prices continue to be offered only.
