Perstorp increases prices for Capa™ caprolactones

Specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase prices for Capa™ caprolactones effective April 1st, 2011, or as existing contracts permit.

Effective April 1, 2011, or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase the price for its Capa™ Caprolactone monomer and polymers. Prices will be increased by a minimum of:

EUR €150/MT

GBP £130/MT

USD $200/MT

The price increase is made to restore margins lost due to sharp increases in feedstock prices.
