Withdrawal of Force Majeure for Perstorp’s range of Caprolactones
The declaration of Force Majeure for Perstorp’s caprolactone products sent out 22 December 2010 is now withdrawn.
The severe weather conditions in the United Kingdom with prolonged extreme cold forced Perstorp to temporarily shut down the production of Capa™ caprolactone monomer and polycaprolactone polymers at the production site in Warrington, U.K. and declare Force Majeure for the products 22 December, 2010.
Restart of the plant took place on December 31st 2010 and it is now fully operational again. The Force Majeure is now withdrawn with immediate effect.
