Perstorp increases price for Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA)
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase price for Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) with effect from 1 Dec or as existing contracts permit.
With effect from 1 Dec or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase the price of Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) by US$200/MT (or €150/MT) in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Europe.
The price increase is necessary to restore margins for the PIA operations to a sustainable level with the current tight supply situation.
