Perstorp increases prices for aliphatic isocyanates
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase prices for aliphatic isocyanates as of November 15, 2010, or as existing contracts permit.
Effective November 15, 2010, or as existing contracts permit, Perstorp will increase prices on HDI (Hexamethylene Di-isocyanate) and IPDI (Isophore Di-isocyanate) monomers and derivatives (TolonateTM and EasaquaTM) by 4% across the product range.
Prices are being increased due to substantially higher costs of raw materials and utilities. Perstorp is working proactively to improve productivity and to reduce manufacturing and operating costs.
