PINFA – short for Phosphorus, Inorganic & Nitrogen Flame Retardants Association – is a sector group within CEFIC with the purpose of promoting the use of non halogenated flame retardants. Intumescent systems, where Perstorp product CharmorTM is being used, is one example. Adrian Harden, Product Manager CharmorTM, and David James, Market Development Manager, are now representing Perstorp in PINFA.

The members of PINFA share the common vision of continuously improving the environmental and health profile of their flame retardant products and offering innovative solutions for sustainable fire safety. Target groups for the sector group are for example policy makers, supply chain functions and downstream industries in the field of building and construction, transportation, electrical and electronics.
