Formulators of polyurethane dispersions now have limitless formulation freedom at their fingertips with Perstorp’s complete portfolio of products for PUDs, now showcased in a new brochure.
A new brochure showcases Perstorp’s complete palette of essential and specialty components for producing high performance and lower impact polyurethane dispersions, raising awareness and making the benefits of working with a complete polyurethane partner more accessible to our customers.
The complete Perstorp range of products for polyurethane dispersions covers products for producing PUDs for highly durable wood floor coatings, flexible and abrasion-resistant leather and textile coatings and weather-resistant, non-yellowing outdoor coatings. It also includes soft-feel coatings for plastics, and adhesives for footwear, wood products, furniture and automotive interiors.
Aqueous polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) are widely appreciated for their versatility, high performance, and low environmental impact – and because they enable formulators to customize precise properties, such as durability, hardness and flexibility, for each specific application.
The low environmental impact of PUDs comes from their low VOC (volatile organic compound) content, since they are dispersed in water, rather than organic solvents. This means that PUD coating systems are more environmentally sound and increasingly attractive solutions, being both friendlier to the environment and to the people who use them.
