Meeting growing markets at Middle East Coatings Show 2010
The Middle East Coatings Show 2010 took place 29th to 31st March in Dubai. Perstorp was there to reinforce an already strong position in the region.
The Middle East Coatings Show is the largest dedicated coatings event in the Middle East and Gulf Region for raw materials suppliers and equipment manufacturers for the coatings industry. For many years Perstorp has participated in the show and this year Perstorp presented its latest winning formulas for sustainable surface solutions including high performance 1K and 2K PU coatings, polyesters and alkyds, architectural coatings and Charmor®-based intumescent coatings.
Staffed with a combination of technical and sales experts, the Perstorp booth was well visited during the three day fair. Both existing and new customers from the Middle East and Africa were interested in finding out more about Perstorp’s complete portfolio.
Charmor® polyalcohols are a strong driver of Perstorp’s growth in the Middle East. Charmor®-based intumescent coatings protect the structure and people inside of public buildings including the new terminal of the Dubai International Airport, Dubai metro stations and recently renovated Meydan Horse Race Course in Dubai.
“Perstorp already has a strong position in the region, being well-known for its good products and seen as a trustworthy company giving good technical help and service to customers. At the show it was pleasing to see an increased interest in our offer,” says Maj-Lis Lindberg Påhlsson, Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa.
Also Solvochem, Perstorp’s distributor in the Middle East, received a lot of visits as well as Orkila, Perstorp’s distributor for Tolonate® in the Middle East and Africa.
