Effective April 1, 2010 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase the price for Isophthalic Acid (PIA) in Europe by EUR 100 per metric ton and USD 150 per metric ton in Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa and 7 c/lb in the US.

The price increases are due to higher cost of operation, and particularly in raw materials.
