Perstorp increases price for Pentaerythritol

Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase price for Pentaerythritol effective April 1st, 2010 or as existing contracts permit.

Effective April 1st, 2010 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase prices for Pentaerythritol (Penta) by EUR 140/MT in Europe, 8 c/lb in  North America  and USD 200/MT in all other markets.

Price increases are due in order to restore profitability. The products are currently subject to longer lead-time.
